US, Britain and Australia top choices for MBAs

The three most popular MBA study destinations for Asians are the US, Britain and Australia, a new survey shows. A poll of 5,000 prospective MBA applicants worldwide found Asians were almost twice as likely as Americans (3.20 per cent against 1.7 per cent) to consider distance learning, according to the QS TopMBA.com Survey of MBA Applicants 2007, a London-based career and education guide. Singaporeans were the most likely (14.8 per cent) to stay home to study. Students from Taiwan and Singapore (66.7 per cent and 51.9 per cent) were far more likely to take an MBA to effect a career change than Americans (33.8 per cent).
