Parkour, also known as l'art du deplacement (the art of displacement), is a French-born discipline

in which participants overcome obstacles in their path in the most efficient and quick manner.

Credit for the spread of the activity goes to its charismatic founder, stuntman-actor David Belle, and childhood friend Sebastien Foucan, who has championed the urban sport called free running - a close relation to parkour - seen in recent movies Casino Royale and Die Hard 4.0. The Hong Kong Parkour Association is nurturing talented, young practitioners in the city. Check their moves at www.youtube.com/watch?v=4oIraJevcb8 and see if you recognise any of the locales.
