Loyal Walkman users can take heart that, with its NWZ-S610F series of portable media players, Sony has not forgotten its core market of audiophiles. Available in six colours, the latest players have Sony's three Clear Audio technologies: the Digital Sound Enhancement Engine, which restores the high-frequency range; Clear Stereo, which stops audio signal leaking from one channel to another; and Clear Bass, which reproduces bass without distortion. Each device features up to 33 hours of music playback, or 91/2 hours of viewing on the high-resolution display, per full battery charge, and a built-in FM tuner. The 2-gigabyte, 4GB and 8GB models cost HK$998, HK$1,388 and HK$1,838, respectively.
