Earth Home's name hints at the products sold inside the shop, which eschews anything mass-produced or overstyled. Its ceramics, for instance, are hand-formed and hand-glazed, meaning each piece is unique. 'How wonderful it is to hold even the humblest teacup and know there isn't another in the world exactly like it,' says Andrew Bell, who was inspired to open the shop when he couldn't find the black handmade ceramic tableware he was so fond of when he lived in Bangkok. Earth Home features the work of Thai ceramicist Somluk Pantiboon and carries a covetable range of basins, which can also be made to order in vivid blues, greens and red, or black or white.
