In stitches

Infusing its luxurious men's shoes with a touch of ruggedness, Berluti's newest collection of footwear - Fil d'Ariane - uses stitches inspired by the knots used by sailors, mountaineers and divers. The collection features the Berluti Palomar shoe (below; HK$12,800), for gentlemen who want something a little unusual. Coated with a polish that renders the leather water-resistant, the shoe features a knotted stitch detail and comes in blue-toned leather reminiscent of the ocean. The laces panel is in a contrasting tan with blue and gold hints.
