Skimpy costume no big deal for Canto-pop legend's daughter

Ursule Wong Yu-sze (pictured), on her recent skimpily attired role in the Cantonese version of Joe Orton's play What the Butler Saw: 'Acting has always been my passion. I studied theatre as a minor subject at university in Canada. I don't get many opportunities here to act because people think of me as just a presenter. Perhaps they don't think I'm pretty enough.

'When Perry [Chiu Woon] asked me if I'd mind wearing lingerie on stage for a play, I didn't think it was a big deal. But I did worry the media would say I only did it for publicity. For me, it was just a costume and not sexual at all.

'I am quite a reserved person. I wish I had my father's [music legend James Wong Jim] guts, to do outrageous things and be a bad girl and be more aggressive. But I wouldn't go naked unless it was a really great script.'
