Police hold suspect in fatal accident

A suspected 14K triad member was arrested yesterday over a fatal hit-and-run accident in which a 26-year-old female pillion passenger was killed in Chai Wan on Friday. The man, surnamed Wong, was believed to be the driver of a stolen car that hit the motorcycle. The male motorcyclist and a pedestrian were injured. The driver and two passengers fled the scene. A police source said the man, 29, was arrested for the hit-and-run, dangerous driving causing death, car stealing and driving without a licence.
