More than 2,000 people are expected to join the Hong Kong Jockey Club 'Run With Your Heart' relay run at PopTV Arena in Western Kowloon on New Year's Eve. Organised by the Hong Kong Elite Athletes Association with the aim of raising funds for the Elite Athlete Charitable Trust and other beneficiaries, this year's event will be held under the theme 'Lets Get Ready For Beijing 2008'. 'The event is entering its eighth anniversary, and over the years we have received massive support from the community with a donation of more than HK$5 million,' said Malina Ngai, chairwoman of the organising committee. Participants, in groups of four to 12, are required to donate HK$100 each to join the charity run.
