The six-course menu (with 10 wines) by the hotel's creative executive chef Uwe Opocensky pairs 'forgotten beef' (beef/ash/gnocchi/black jus) with the Stoniers Pinot Noir 2004, Torres Mas La Plana 2002, Sacred Hill Helmsman Cabernet-Merlot 2004 and Penfolds Bin 389 2004, and the 'eight cheeses' (grapes/walnut bread/port wine jelly) with Errazuriz Don Maximiano 2004 and the award-winning Claymore 'Walk on the Wild Side' Shiraz-Viognier 2005. Kim Tae-woong and Ahn Young-mok of Lotte Hotel in Seoul are cooking at The Place at the Langham Place in Mong Kok until October 24.
