Stand and deliver

Notebook personal computers offer many advantages over traditional desktop PCs but aren't always

as comfortable to use. Because a laptop's display and keyboard are attached, the user may have to sit in awkward positions, hunching over to type or squinting to read the screen.

With an eye on laptop ergonomics, computer-peripherals maker Logitech has released its upgraded notebook stand.

The all-in-one Logitech Alto Cordless offers a notebook display riser, a full-size cordless keyboard with soft palm rest, multipurpose USB hub and a cable management system. Its keyboard, which includes a numeric pad, enables a user to type faster and more comfortably, thereby reducing fatigue.

The stand flips open and snaps close with the help of specially designed magnets. Total setup time is less than 30 seconds, making it ideal for people who often move their laptop around. The Logitech Alto Cordless notebook stand costs HK$868.
