Cologne: 'I don't like the musk in cologne. I use Biotherm and Chanel body sprays; I like the way they prevent me from sweating like a pig.'

Most innovative designer: Neil Barrett. 'Great quality. When I go to Europe, I always visit the Barrett store in Paris. He was one of Prada's most original designers for menswear. The clothes are well constructed and fit well - rugged yet classy.'

Jeans: 'I stick with Diesel.'

Dress shoes: Prada. 'Good fit, easy to find, quite reasonable.'

Trainers: 'I've gone back to Classic Nike cross-trainers for the gym.

I've been wearing that brand since I was five.'

Watch: Breguet Type XXI Fly-back Chronograph. 'Works for wake-boarding. I don't even take it off.'

Sunglasses: Chanel aviators with gold-bronze rim, gradient brown. 'My girlfriend makes fun of me about them. We argue over whether they are meant for guys or girls.'

Grooming tip: 'Use a face towel and foaming cleanser for face-washing - using finger tips doesn't do the trick.'

Indulgence: 'I'm a sushi fiend. Every now and then I get a craving and just go crazy on the toro [fatty tuna].'

Reading: The World is Flat by Thomas L. Friedman. 'It's about 21st-century politics and globalisation and how everyone is dealing with it. It refreshes me on current issues.'

Movie: Fast Food Nation by Richard Linklater. 'I tend to watch movies in three parts, because I don't usually have time to do a movie in one sitting.'

Perfect getaway: Phuket or Koh Samui, Thailand. 'They're only two hours away and I speak the language. Ideally, I charter or borrow a boat with a crew. I last had a catamaran and

did some island-hopping - it was an amazing experience.'
