Karrie Industrial, primarily engaged in the sales and manufacture of metal and plastic products, and electronic manufacturing service (EMS) business, is looking for a logistics director to help run its mainland operations.
'It's a very important and big part in the company because the person would have to look after about 250 people and oversee the entire company's supply chain from marketing to shipment to customs and they must do a lot,' said general manager Edith Tam Fung-ping.
Main duties of the job would be developing a logistics strategy and operation platform, implementing logistics tactics such as planning, warehouse management, production material control and inventory control, and overseeing procurement activities.
The candidate must have at least 10 years' experience in logistics planning, supply chain management and warehouse management, and at least five years' relevant experience in a mainland manufacturing environment and five years in a managerial position at a large organisation.
A flexible and broad ranging professional should take on the role to develop policies, guidelines and procedures for re-engineering and improving the overall work flow process and implementation.
