What is your favourite complication? The Tag Heuer Calibre360 Chronograph used in the Carrera Calibre360 model. It is the first mechanical wrist chronograph to measure and display time to 1/100th of a second - 10 times faster than any other mechanical wristwatch movement on the market today. The movement alters from 28,800 vibrations per hour under normal conditions, then accelerates to an immense speed of 360,000 vibrations per hour in chronograph mode; 360,000 vibrations per hour in a watch has to be compared to a car engine which would reach an unbelievable 75,000rpm instead of the current 7,500rpm achieved by the greatest sports cars from Porsche or Ferrari.

What is your favourite material in a watch? Titanium. It is ultra-light and able to withstand high temperature and pressure. This ultra-resistant alloy is also shock resistant.

What do you think is the best innovation this year? It is definitely the Tag Heuer CalibreS movement. This truly revolutionary calibre is a major milestone in Swiss watchmaking, somehow outdating existing quartz and mechanical chronographs by combining the best of both technologies. Unlike every first-generation quartz chronograph on the market, the CalibreS movement measures and displays watch and chronograph functions with the same full-sized central hands.
