University student hangs himself

A mainland PhD research student at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology with a history of depression hanged himself in his room on campus. Ge Weiwei, 27, from Suzhou , who was admitted to the university to study chemistry in 2004, was found dead by a security guard in his bedroom at about 7pm on Saturday.
