Changchun Yatai won the Chinese Super League after beating Shenzhen Shangqingyin 4-1 last night, winning the northeast team's first domestic title after a season which saw most of the league's traditional powerhouses come up short. Changchun were promoted to the top-tier of mainland soccer only last year, but have gone from strength to strength. Beijing Guo'an finished one point adrift and had to settle for a second-place finish despite a 1-0 home victory over defending champions Shandong Luneng. Shandong finished the season in a disappointing third.
