PCCW has won a five-year contract to operate free Wi-fi internet services at 350 government premises. The service by PCCW-HKT Network Services is expected to start next June in 120 public libraries, job centres, parks and other places offering public services, a government spokesman said yesterday. The remaining 230 premises will be wireless functional by June 2009. The project is in line with government plans for a wireless city.
