Two players were sent off - one from each team - as tempers flared at the end of yesterday's Choi Fung Hong Senior Shield quarter-final between Eastern and Citizen at Mong Kok Stadium. Eastern were leading 2-1 with about a minute left when Eastern's Paulo Miranda and Citizen's Ronan Falcao were given their marching orders for an altercation. Calm was restored and Eastern's Brazilian signing Rodrigo Andreis Galvao completed a hat-trick with a last-gasp goal to give Eastern a 3-1 victory. Chen Zhizhao scored for Citizen. Meanwhile, Kitchee blasted Lanwa Redbull 5-0 to also reach the last four with goals from Wilfred Bamnjo, Julius Akosah, Goran Stankouski, Chan Siu-ki and Li Yao from the penalty spot.
