Pansy Ho breathes new life into a traditional Chinese exercise regime
Gambling tycoon Stanley Ho Hung-sun's daughter Pansy Ho Chiu-king is working hard.
The head of Shun Tak Holdings (and boss of soon to be opened MGM Macau) was the guest of honour at a Lancome event at the Central Ferry roof deck on Friday.
For her charity work as co-chair of the Community Chest, Ho was given a fancy cosmetics case collaboratively made by the makeup label and Goyard. However, Ho seemed more pleased about her new health regime.
'I don't think I'll carry this case when I travel,' Ho said of the fancy luggage. 'It's just too precious. Usually, I don't even spend too much time on new beauty products. It's ironic since I seldom put on a lot of makeup.
'Instead, I've been learning qigong [Chinese breathing exercises] and tai chi with famous master Lee Fai. There are 92 tai chi sets I have to memorise and I've been practising for about a year now. I discovered it helps to warm my cold hands and feet and even lose some weight.'
