Rangers'Godfried Karikari was red carded in the 24th minute and the team were reduced to nine men after Jean Kilama was given his marching orders for a second bookable offence 10 minutes before time. Meanwhile, Convoy Sun Hei defender Cristiano Cordeiro was sent off in the 74th minute of his team's 3-0 loss to Happy Valley in an earlier quarter-final, but Valley were well in control by then.
