Fresh prince coming to town for premiere

He was a fresh prince once and also a man in black. Now, Will Smith is one of the biggest box office draws around, and he will be getting jiggy in Hong Kong next weekend. The local office of Warner Brothers is bringing the rapper and actor to town to promote his new movie, I Am Legend, where he plays the sole survivor in a world full of vampire zombies. Why does Smith have to do every blockbuster that requires him to save the world?

The movie is coming out on December 13, but Smith, along with director Francis Lawrence (his previous credits include making Britney Spear's video I'm a Slave 4 U) and screenwriter Akiva Goldman (whose Jekyll and Hyde career includes winning an Oscar for writing A Beautiful Mind, but also stooping to penning crud like Batman Forever), will be at Times Square's piazza next Friday between 7pm and 8pm for the movie's gala Asian premiere.
