It has been a busy year for Christian Dior, with the house's 60th anniversary celebrations and designer John Galliano creating some of fashion's most talked about collections. To commemorate the anniversary, the luxury brand has released a stunning coffee-table book called Dior (HK$1,300), written by fashion historian Farid Chenoune. Weighing a whopping 5kg, the 400-page tome tells the story of the house of Dior and the five artistic directors who have been at its helm, including Yves Saint Laurent, Marc Bohan and Gianfranco Ferre. It also features work by iconic photographers including Richard Avedon and Irving Penn. Available at all Christian Dior boutiques including that in The Landmark, Central, tel: 2524 8277.
