dvd: The Truman Show. Starring Jim Carrey, the movie is witty and thought-provoking as it mocks the media culture.

movie: Lions for Lambs. It's about the war against Iraq. Might seem heavy and boring, but it gives you a glimpse of American politics. A worthy film.

book: How to be Lovely. A biography of the legendary Audrey Hepburn, with lots of photos.

gadget: iPod Touch. Looks a lot like iPhone, but it's a lot cheaper.

dvd: Children of Men. Interesting, action-packed DVD starring Michael Caine.

movie: Sicko. Directed by Michael Moore.

gadget: iPhone. Expensive but really worth it!
