The Asia Art Archive (AAA) will hold its sixth annual auction fund-raiser on Friday with works by some of the region's best and most promising artists going under the hammer, including those donated by mainland artists Yue Minju (right), Wu Shanzhuan, Zhang Xiaogang and locals Wilson Shieh, Caroline Chiu and Leung Kui-ting. The goal of this year's fund-raiser is to build an endowment which will ensure that the archive - and its research work - is around for future generations, says the AAA.
