A golden opportunity
A replica of the tiara presented to Empress Marie-Louise of France in 1811 - just one of the treasures on show in Central at Chaumet of Paris. Jewellery and objects commissioned by Napoleon Bonaparte and his family will be displayed at Chaumet's museum, in the St George's Building, to celebrate the first anniversary of the jeweller's flagship store. The exhibition runs from today until December 31, and is closed on Sundays. Admission is free.
