Parisian jeweller Van Cleef & Arpels held a gala dinner at the Grand Hyatt hotel last month to celebrate the launch of its L'Atlantide fine jewellery collection.

Inspired by the legend of the lost city of Atlantis, the grand ballroom was transformed into an underwater fantasy to display the gems.

The jewellery house's chief executive Stanislas de Quercize greeted Barney Cheng Siu-leung, Andrew Yuen Wai-man, HKEx chairman Ronald Arculli, Jessey Meng Kuang-mei and publisher Corrado Riccio.
