Canto-pop singer Joey Yung Cho-yee's father, who threatened a supermarket worker after his mother was detained for allegedly pocketing two packs of chewing gum, has been ordered to perform 160 hours of community service. Yung Kam-fai, 45, had earlier pleaded guilty in Tsuen Wan Court to criminal intimidation. On June 22, he threatened to vandalise a supermarket in Kwai Chung and chop staff if they refused to release his mother. The magistrate acknowledged Yung had acted to protect his mother.
