Colombian connection
French fashion house Emanuel Ungaro has appointed 23-year-old Colombian-born  Esteban Cortazar  as creative director for its women's collections. Based in New York, Cortazar will replace  Peter Dundas.   His first collection will debut in Paris  next March.
Waving the flag for Italian design
Valentino has re-opened its flagship store in The Landmark (top).

Eastern premises

Mirror image boutique

Exhibition space

Caring calendar
The Cotton Council International's  Life Journeys (HK$600) is a charity/fashion calendar.  It features models and celebrities including Chinese pop stars Jing Bo Ren   and Fu Xin Bo.   It is available exclusively at lifejourneys2008.com,  proceeds go to Care for Children.
