Listening: Version by Mark Ronson. 'It's got to be the album of the year.'

Reading: 'The latest David Hewson novel, Andre Aciman's Call Me By Your Name and Ishq and Mushq by Priya Basil; she's coming for the Man Hong Kong International Literary Festival in March and we've chosen it for the [RTHK radio show] Naked Lunch book of the month.'

Films: Breakfast at Tiffany's. 'I love Audrey Hepburn and the song Moon River. Also It's a Wonderful Life with James Stewart - a fantastic film to watch on Christmas Eve.'

Most memorable interview: 'There are several: interviewing Richard Branson on my knees in his living room; he was smirking and I was flustered. Having INXS and the last man on the moon, Eugene Cernan, in the studio at the same time. Then there were [children's entertainers] Scotty and Lulu taking the name Naked Lunch to heart and stripping!'

Place in Hong Kong: 'Weekend walks along Cheung Sha Beach; hanging out at the bar at the end of Cheung Chau beach; walks around Peng Chau with my dog; relaxed meals at the new restaurants in Discovery Bay.'

Restaurant: 'For the ambience, it's got to be the China Club [in Central]. For the food ... what can beat getting sticky hands and going to a seafood restaurant on the Po Toi islands?'

Heroes: 'My parents. It wasn't until I became a parent myself that I realised how relaxed they were with us as children.'
