Man held over stabbing

A Hong Kong man allegedly stabbed a fellow gambler in the neck on a Macau street. The man, 51, who has been charged with attempted murder, was handed to the Public Prosecutions Office. The suspect and the victim frequented casinos and often gambled together, police said. The victim was critically injured on Sunday morning after the suspect allegedly stabbed him in a daylight attack on Avenida da Praia Grande.

HK is top festive port of call

British Airways says Hong Kong is the most popular Asian destination for its festive passengers, and the third most popular city on its global list, trailing only New York and Paris. Los Angeles and Edinburgh came fourth and fifth. Hong Kong was the only Asian city in the top 10.
