Endangered species warning
The Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department yesterday reminded people returning from overseas not to bring endangered species into the city without a licence. It said 78 seizures were made at customs checkpoints from January to November, compared with 135 cases in the same period last year. Commonly encountered examples include ivory, sea turtles, orchids, cacti and pitcher plants.
