Think positive for a happier life

Nowadays, children and adults alike face a lot of pressure and some people still don't know how to deal with it.

I think it's very important to stay positive under pressure.

We face many challenges at work and school and negative thinking is not going to help the situation.

There are two ways to look at it. For example, we might say there is half a cup of water. But, we can also say the cup is half empty.

Our interpretation depends on our mood or feelings.

If more people remained positive when the chips are down, I believe there would be fewer cases of suicides and less family tragedies.

I hope everyone thinks positively all the time.

The world would be happier then.

From the Editor

Thanks for your letter, Michael. And what a wonderful message to share on Christmas Day! I am a big believer in the power of positive thinking. I feel quite strongly that what you think about you draw towards you.

So if you are thinking negative things - worrying or fearful of something - then you run the risk of drawing those things to you. But if you focus on the positive and the good, then those are the things that you will attract into your life.

I hope that today you will take a moment to reflect on the positive message of the season - a message of love and goodwill. And when we focus on those things, we will see more of them in our life.

With best wishes,

Kate, Editor
