Hang around, there's lots to see at this shopping mall

Elements, the new concept mall above the Kowloon MTR station, has rolled out a series of sparkling events to spice up Christmas.

Adorning various corners of the shopping centre are nine breathtaking Christmas trees created by nine artists.

Each made with different materials, the unconventional trees are works of art. The Crystal Palace, for example, lights up the mall with its sparkling crystalline decorations.

The branches of Plastic Fantastic are festooned with toys.

To add to the atmosphere of wonder and excitement, shoppers taking a breather in between forays into the shops are entertained by renowned acrobatic artist Felicia O'Brien, who performs stunts in mid-air.

O'Brien, who has performed with Circus Oz and Cirque du Soleil, does her act on a six-wheeled cycle dangling from the ceiling of the shopping centre, impressing the rapt audience with headstands and other daredevil moves.

In another area of the mall an art show is being staged in a glass case where blue-clad performers mingle with blue waxworks. Shoppers are challenged to distinguish the artists from the mannequins, making for much hilarity and fun.

The performance art show will be staged between 12.30pm and 7.30pm today and tomorrow.

The aerial acrobatic show will take place at 12.30pm, 1.15pm and 2.45pm, today and tomorrow.
