Winter's first cold snap on way

The first cold snap of the winter will arrive early next week, with the mercury dropping as low as 10 degrees Celsius. The Observatory said low pressure was developing over the mainland, which was expected to affect the southern region over the weekend. The temperature would fall as low as 12 degrees tomorrow, 11 on Monday and 10 on Tuesday, the Observatory said. Humidity would also plunge to 35 per cent.
