Here's looking at Yewn, kid

Local jewellery designer Dickson Yewn has turned his passion for Chinese art into jewellery. To commemorate the opening of his new store at the Landmark in Central on December 8, the designer used goldfish - an auspicious species in Chinese culture - as the blueprint for his latest designs.

Goldfish are often found in Chinese folk ornaments, as they symbolise affluence, and Yewn's collection features goldfish in yellow and white gold with diamonds and sapphires.

A handcrafted wooden mahjong set made by Yewn was also on display at the opening.

Among the guests were Josephine Lee Ying-ying, Karmen Navarro, Jean-Frederic Benoit, Judy Mann Lai-yin and Benny Yeung Yuen-chun.
