City University hopes to increase awareness of the variety of choices available through talks and seminars
Executives wanting to further enhance their professional skills are invited to attend today's City University's Graduate Studies Information Day where a host of popular postgraduate degree programmes will be introduced to participants face-to-face.
Organised by the university's Chow Yei Ching School of Graduate Studies, the event aims to increase professionals' awareness of the variety of choices available. There will also be talks and seminars.
'If they want to ask more questions and know more about the course in-depth that they intend to study, it is a good opportunity for them to come over and speak to our representatives,' said the school's executive officer Alexandra Wong.
She added that participants could also consider applying online after learning more about the programmes that they were interested in.
Ms Wong said the event also hoped to attract students from Shenzhen and Guangdong where the school had agents to promote the programmes.
Participating departments include Faculty of Humanities and Social Science, Faculty of Science and Engineering, School of Creative Media and School of Law. Courses offered include taught degrees, professional doctorate programmes and research degrees.
The exhibition will be held at the university's Kowloon Tong campus from 1pm to 6.30pm.
