The Town Planning Board has endorsed new height restrictions for future developments in Ho Man Tin. A maximum height of 160 metres was set for residential buildings and 90 metres for commercial buildings. According to the amended zoning plan, the measures would prevent excessively tall or out-of-context buildings from being built in the area. The board also approved the plan to reduce the density of development on waterfront land in Hung Hom.
