One guy who's not worrying about subprime issues and a recession is playboy tycoon Cecil Chao Sze-tsung. The chairman of Cheuk Nang Holdings recently took delivery of the city's first two-door Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe. It's the third Rolls in his collection, after a luxury Phantom he owns here and another in Macau. The car was delivered late last month.

Mr Chao (right, with Leon Roy of Rolls-Royce) ordered a cream interior and metropolitan blue exterior with navy blue hood. Two other special touches are the teak decking for the rear hood cover and the brushed steel bonnet. Interestingly, he also picked the '4' licence plate despite its unlucky connotation in Chinese.

The carmaker wouldn't divulge the cost of Mr Chao's sporty coupe with all its custom touches, but the basic model apparently goes for a mere HK$6.9 million. Small change, right?
