Bank requires 'deliverer of important news'

An internal communications professional is needed at an international private bank which has aggressive plans to expand in the region.

This role will require working closely with business leaders to effectively communicate all business strategies, corporate missions and events. Profile Search and Selection, Asia is handling the search.

'This is a key role because the person will be responsible for communicating all business strategies and initiatives to all staff, often representing top-level management, including the chief executive,' said Cindy Mui, associate. 'You can essentially think of this person as the 'messenger' and deliverer of important news.'

Applicants should have a strong track record in human resources, although a marketing and communications background will also be considered. 'Our ideal candidate will be a seasoned HR professional with a strong internal communications, or change management, background,' she said.

Someone with an analytical mind, who has strong consultative capabilities, is needed as the role requires looking at large amounts of feedback and data, and communicating the implications and results with senior management. Immaculate presentation and communication skills are a must.

Other duties include leading special projects, such as global employee surveys, and the implementation of internal change programmes that require in-depth analysis of data, running focus groups, facilitating feedback sessions with key stakeholders and presenting and consulting where necessary.
