Recruiting starts for third season of The Amazing Race Asia
with Andrew Sun. Additional reporting by Clara Mak.
The second season hasn't finished airing yet but the AXN network has already confirmed it is going ahead with a third season of The Amazing Race Asia reality show.
The regional spin-off of the popular Emmy Award-winning show, where teams of two race across countries in the east and beyond - as one contestant commented during this season, 'I didn't realise Germany was part of Asia' - is now registering contestants for a new race for US$100,000 later this year.
All participants must submit their applications in teams of two.
You must live or work in Asia (not including Australia, New Zealand or the Middle East).
You must also be 21 years or older, speak English and have a valid international driver's licence and passport.
Forms can be downloaded from www.axn-asia.com. You need to send a three-minute video to the address on the website. The deadline is 6pm on February 25.
Let's hope the Hong Kong teams for season three will do a lot better than those in season two, which were eliminated fairly early.
Let's also hope AXN actually chooses normal people rather than a bunch of model types.
