IT was a weary Michelle Yeoh that we bumped into the other day, pigtails and all.
Delivering knock-out punches while leaping high in the air - even though it's only of the celluloid variety - does take its toll it seems.
''I've completed six movies in a row and I'm very, very tired,'' said Yeoh, who was sporting large dark glasses to conceal the evidence.
Formerly married to tycoon Dickson Poon, the action star who does all her own stunts (and we hear Hollywood is showing an interest in her career) was looking forward to a Lunar New Year vacation in her native Malaysia.
''I can't wait to get away on my break,'' said Yeoh, who in real life comes over as being fragile in a quaint sort of way - a far cry from her rough and tumble cinematic self.
She added: ''It will be wonderful to laze around without having to worry about learning lines and preparing to go in front of the cameras.'' But before her vacation she had one more hassle to endure.
