RTHK has launched a TV programme which showcases the creativity and moviemaking talent of local film students.

The eight-episode programme, First Time Producers, is a compilation of the best works by film students from Hong Kong Baptist University, Polytechnic University of Hong Kong and Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA).

The programme provides an opportunity for budding filmmakers to share their labours of love.

'The programme provides a good platform for film students to reach out to the public,' said Shu Kei, HKAPA's dean of film and television. Many stories featured in the show explore the nature of human relationships.

Bafu Village talks about the rivalry and enmity between two rustic villagers in a remote Chinese village.
