Lingnan study finds white-collar workers more stressed than blue-collar counterparts

Lingnan University and the Chinese Academy of Sciences have jointly conducted a study on mental health problems among financial workers in the mainland. The research found that more financial workers were suffering from depressive symptoms than those in service industries.

BaptistU receives HK$3m donation

Hong Kong Baptist University this week received a HK$3 million donation from Lau Chor-tak, managing director of Fung Shing Land Investment, to set up a scholarship under their name to award outstanding mainland students.

New scholarship for tourism students

Hong Kong Polytechnic University is to set up a Robert H. Burns scholarship for the School of Hotel and Tourism Management. The scholarship will grant HK$380,000 a year to four students for five years starting this September.
