International students gather for drama gala
More than 70 students from Beijing, Singapore, Penang, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Oman and Hong Kong are taking part in the International Schools Theatre Association's Asia Pacific Festival this weekend. Hosted by King George V School, the festival will see students produce original work and learn from experienced drama practitioners. The schools, which all follow the International Baccalaureate curriculum, will each present a new piece of theatre during the festival. Overseas students will stay with local families in Hong Kong. The International Schools Theatre Association, founded in 1977, runs theatre events for students around the world.
