Drink-driver injures HK tourist in Taipei

A Hong Kong tourist surnamed Chin suffered a broken hand and bruised knee when a drink-driver drove his vehicle onto the footpath near the Office of the President in Taipei at about 3.20pm yesterday. She was admitted to National Taiwan University Hospital. Her husband was not hurt. The driver failed a breath test and was arrested. The Hong Kong Immigration Department said it would help if necessary.
