Amid the strange, strange ordeal of the naked celebrity pictures saga, there have been some innocent victims along the way. One of them is the Ultimate PC & Mac Gallery shop on Stanley Street in Central. It stands next door to the shop where police arrested several people during a raid over the nude pictures controversy. Worried that customers might mistake their Stanley Street location for the one involved in the case, Ultimate hastily sent out a notice on Monday to clarify: 'The company that is suspected to be involved in online distribution of nude photos is ... NOT US!'

When contacted, its marketing manager, Aki Su, admitted perhaps a bit of paranoia had got the better of him. 'Our business hasn't really been affected,' he said. 'We've just had some reporters come in and check some information with us. However, [next door] has been very impacted. A reporter told me almost no one has walked in. They sell parallel imports of Apple stuff but we are the authorised dealer. But, Hong Kong is a free market.'
