The MassMutual Jr Space Camp is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.

To mark the occasion, financial group MassMutual Asia has launched the Space Ambassador Mascot Design Competition, which is open to the public in Hong Kong and Macau.

Since 1999, 54 junior astronauts have undergone training at an overseas space camp with their parents.

The competition is divided into three categories - primary, secondary and open. There are gold, silver and bronze medals for each category.

In addition, the winner of the coveted best design award will receive a grand prize - a six-day trip to Paris to experience the French capital's rich artistic legacy.

Moreover, the winning entries will be displayed in an exhibition.

According to MassMutual Asia, a 'Space Ambassador' should be confident, persevering and creative, and able to deliver the message 'It is Possible!'

Entries can be two- or three-dimensional or multimedia presentations. The designs will be judged based on their creativity, originality and whether they highlight the personality of a 'Space Ambassador'.

The deadline for submissions is March 7.
