Tom Ford makes debut in Japan
The Lane Crawford Joyce Group has opened its first Tom Ford store in Asia (above) in Osaka, Japan. The 1,300 sq ft boutique was designed by Tom Ford and architect William Sofield and is decorated in hues of burnished copper, shades of grey and sable brown. Couture label gets room to grow

Socialite to auction designer gear
Socialite and couture collector Daphne Guinness will be auctioning off some of her haute couture and ready-to-wear pieces and accessories to benefit Womankind - a charity set up to help women in developing countries improve their lives. Wishing on a teddy bear
To celebrate the one year anniversary of Seibu's Kowloon location, the department store has collaborated with the Make-A-Wish Foundation on a series of limited-edition teddy bears together with 17 international brands and 13 local celebrities. Musician and photographer Bryan Adams has teamed up with Guess Jeans spring/summer 2008 advertising campaign inspired by screen legend Sophia Loren. Adams photographed new face Line Gost, and will donate his fee to his charity, the Bryan Adams Foundation.
