The Veterinary Surgeons Board received 237 complaints about services over the past five years, York Chow Yat-ngok, the secretary for food and health, said yesterday. Dr Chow told lawmakers that the number of complaints was lower than for other medical professions because there were fewer veterinary surgeons. He said 10 practitioners were found to have contravened the Veterinary Surgeons Registration Ordinance.
