Arrest over asylum seeker's murder

Police have arrested a 28-year-old Bangladeshi in connection with the killing of a compatriot who was seeking asylum. The man was released on bail yesterday and no charge has been laid. The victim, aged 32 and surnamed Morshed, was found dead on a path outside a warehouse in Kam Tsin Village, Sheung Shui, last Tuesday. An examination showed he had been repeatedly struck on the head. Witnesses should phone police on 2666 4431.
