THANK you for printing my letter (''Thanks a lot, Wharf,'' South China Morning Post , February 7) regarding the difficulty of viewing the Super Bowl in Hong Kong.

 I have learned that Wharf is by no means guilty of arrogantly using exclusivity to air the Super Bowl to a privileged minority here. TVB was offered a package of NFL games, including the Super Bowl, this season but turned down the chance.

  I apologise to Wharf for providing misleading and somewhat defamatory information in a public forum. GLENN BERKEY QUARRY BAY
